Dr David Rosario, Senior Lecturer in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics, has recently been awarded the oustanding contribution to teaching award for SAgE. Dr Rosario is an observational astronomer. He has been with Newcastle University for almost two years. His research uses modern telescopes to study supermassive black holes across the cosmos. Currently, he manages a small group of research students and teaches Advanced Astronomy and Galaxies.
