Background

I am a Senior Lecturer in Statistics in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics, and I am Director of Statistics within the School. My research interests concern geometrical methods in statistics, especially in non-smooth spaces such as spaces of trees and networks. I am also interested in inference of phylogenetic trees from genetic sequence data and morphological data.
