Scholarships and loans are available to all Malaysian and International students, within the university and externally.
Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)
Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed) is one of the institutions listed under the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) – Program Khas Perubatan, Pergigian dan Farmasi for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2025 school leavers.
Applications are open from 28 April 2025 to 11 May 2025.
Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman (YTAR)
The Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship identifies and supports high-potential Malaysian youth from local public and private universities. This scholarship provides full tuition coverage, monthly and yearly allowances, and a 2-year leadership development programme to help students reach their full potential.
Biasiswa Kerajaan Negeri Sabah
Students from Sabah can apply for the Biasiswa Kerajaan Negeri Sabah when it is advertised on the website of the Biasiswa Kerajaan Negeri Sabah.
Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah
Students from Sabah can apply for the sponsorship/loan when it is advertised on the website of the Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah.
Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB)
The IIB Knowledge Fund (Dana Ilmu IIB) is a scholarship initiative for targeted groups who wish to pursue their studies at educational institutions within EduCity at the Foundation, Diploma, and Bachelor's degree levels. This program is open to SPM graduates who meet the eligibility criteria.
Key eligibility criteria:
- Muslim Malaysian citizen
- Recipient of Zakat (asnaf) or from a B40 family
- Born in or residing in Johor for at least two years
- Minimum three credits in SPM
- Pursuing studies at an EduCity institution
Applications close 19th September 2025 and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
