Staff Profile
Dr Eske Pedersen
Research Associate in Cosmology
Background
I am danish, and did my bachelors and Masters at Aarhus University. I received my Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2021. From 2021 till 2025 I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University working with Professor Christopher Stubbs
Research
My research focuses on all the things that make it harder for us to do cosmology, in particular cosmology with Gravitational Weak lensing. This includes:
- Intrinsic alignment of galaxies
- Photometric redshifts
- Atmospheric seeing
- PSF issues
