We have an extensive range of competitively priced catered and self-catered accommodation, both University-managed or within our managed partnership schemes. The majority of this accommodation is reserved for new first-year students. See what we offer for undergraduates and postgraduates.

We also have rooms for students with special requirements such as mobility or health problems and for students with partners or families.

Newcastle University is registered to the Student Accommodation Code, which provides benchmarks for the management and quality of student housing.

As a city, Newcastle is fortunate to have a large supply of alternative accommodation options in the private sector. If you choose this type of accommodation we recommend you make sure you get as much information as you can about the property before moving in.
