Our Facilities

We have purpose-built clinical pharmacology laboratories. Work there adheres to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) regulations.

Our chromatography laboratory is well-equipped. It allows the quantification of a range of anticancer drugs. Equipment includes:

  • High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
  • Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS)
  • Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) systems

We have developed and validated assays for over 100 drugs and metabolites. We have done this for well-established chemotherapeutics and for drugs in early-phase development.

We use a range of platforms for Pharmacodynamic assays including:

  • ELISAs for measurement of proteins
  • Flow Cytometry and IHC for identification and characterisation of cells
  • molecular genetic techniques including: PCR, NGS and probe array approaches for the analysis of nucleic acids
