Background

I joined the Careers Service as a Work Experience Assistant in December 2022. Prior to this, I worked in Education Recruitment for 3 and a half years and before this I was a Manager of a Maths and English Tuition Centre. In April 2026 I was promoted to Work Experience Coordinator.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Work Experience Coordinator, I am part of the Newcastle University Unitemps team. My role includes recruitment of student workers, advertising and allocating part-time roles and internships within the university, and liaising with students and hiring managers on campus.
