What is MyCareer?

MyCareer is our interactive platform exclusively for Newcastle University students and graduates up to 3 years after graduation.

Use it to:

  • Search for vacancies - including graduate jobs, internships, placements, part-time jobs and volunteering opportunities
  • Explore our employer directory – the organisations listed are engaged with the University and interested in recruiting our students and graduates
  • Book and manage your 1:1 appointments with our team
  • Sign up for workshops
  • Find employer events
  • Take part in our online pathways – short courses on topics such as writing a CV
  • Access specialist resources – including video interview software, instant CV feedback, practice recruitment tests, global career database, business start-up guides and much more
  • Discover career information and guides
  • Message us directly with quick queries or upload your CV for feedback when you’re off campus. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

Customise your profile

  • Select career sector preferences to receive recommended opportunities in your inbox.
  • Tell us your email preferences so we know how often you want to hear from us.

Customise your dashboard

  • View and manage your appointment and event bookings in one place. Keep track of when and where things are happening and cancel if you can no longer make it.
  • Browse recommended vacancies, events and organisations based on the preferences in your profile.
  • View and access the pathways you’ve registered for.
