START UP Community Socials
Our START UP Community Socials are relaxed, informal gatherings where you can meet new people, hear real founder stories and get inspired by what’s possible.
Each social features a short talk from a guest founder followed by a friendly Q&A, refreshments and plenty of time to chat and make connections. There’s also an optional open mic where you can make a shout-out to the room, whether you’re looking for help, want to share an opportunity or have something you’d like others to know about.
Students, graduates, Newcastle University staff and members of the local start-up community are all welcome. Come along to hear different perspectives, discover what others are working on and leave with new connections and ideas.
