Looking ahead, Ranjeet has national ambitions, including scalable self-serve juice units for universities, gyms and workplaces. He credits Newcastle University’s supportive research and enterprise environment for enabling him to balance academic excellence with entrepreneurship.
Claire Adamson, Senior Manager for Entrepreneurship and Start-Up, said: “It is no small feat to balance the demands of a PhD with starting and growing a business, making Ranjeet's success even more impressive. As a team we are delighted to be supporting Ranjeet and look forward to seeing more Dr Juice pop-ups across campus, further enriching campus life,”
Helen Davis, Head of Accommodation said “We are excited to look at the opportunity to work with such an excellent start-up, it is always great to support a local growing business, and particularly when it is one of our students. The fresh juices will complement other products provided on campus. Look out for pop-ups in catering locations soon!”
