Women’s Hockey

Whether you’re a seasoned player, you’ve been out of the game for a while or you’ve never played before, we’d love you to get involved.

Drop in/Taster Session

Register your interest either at the Sports Fair, or by Emailing the Intramural Sport Officer (details below). Attend the taster session to determine whether you would like to take part in our BRAND NEW weekly Hockey League. You do not need to be part of a team to attend - if you do not have a team ready to enter, then you will be allocated to one during the taster session.

  • Sundays - Longbenton Sports Ground. Fixtures played from 16:00 until 19:00
  • Term time only league
  • All Equipment Provided

This is a great opportunity for you to team up, socialise and compete - whether you are an experienced player or total newcomer. The league will run in collaboration with NULHC, ensuring support will always be available, but also opening the potential chance to be called up to the BUCS squads if your game develops.

The League will finish with a Play-Off final day - with the winning team coming away with a shiny trophy and their place in Intramural history.
