Hi, I'm Ryan and I'm one of the Personal Trainers here at Newcastle University Sport & Fitness Centre.
The first time I stepped foot into a gym, I remember the daunting, intimidating feeling of not knowing exactly what I should and could do. Therefore, I understand the importance of professional guidance and having someone there to both motivate and educate you throughout your fitness journey.
With many years of experience working in the Sport and Fitness industry, I specialise in muscle building, strength building, toning up, weight loss and nutritional advice.

Hi I’m Lee. I’m a 26 year old personal trainer at Newcastle University. I have an in-depth knowledge of the physiology of the human body from my years working within the gym as well as completing my bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science. I’ve been working in the fitness industry for over 7 years now and have a wealth of experience helping people from all different ages and backgrounds achieve their fitness goals.

I have over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry. I teach different classes such as, Indoor Cycling, Kettlebell, Bootcamp and loads more! If you’re new to exercise it can be tricky to know what type of training you should be doing to achieve your goals. It’s even harder to know what you should be eating to fuel your body pre and post workout as this can have a huge effect on how quickly you see results. I specialise in fat loss and muscle building (especially in the lower body region) and can give you some nutritional guidance to support your training program so you can get the results you want. As well as weight training and HIIT I also love to do pole dance. Hi I’m Anna, one of the personal trainers at Newcastle University. I first fell in love with fitness whilst I was studying at uni, initially I started because I wanted to counter balance all the nights out I was having in first year and all the extra calories I was consuming. Over time I started to see visible results and the effect it had on my day to day mood was something else.
