Key points and facilities
There are two room options available at Grand Hotel – en suite, and premium en suite. Rooms are located on corridors rather than flats, across three floors, with two to three kitchens and lounges per floor. This means that on average, 5-10 people share a kitchen/lounge area. As Grand Hotel is located on campus, there is no car parking or bike storage available. The building has an entry phone system, ensuring only those given access can come into the building.
Reception is based at nearby Kensington Terrace, and our friendly security staff patrols the area and is available on call 24/7.
En-suite rooms are available across three floors. Each bedroom combines a sleep/study space, including a three-foot bed (single), desk with chair, wardrobe, shelving and en-suite shower room. For September 2023/24 applicants, there will be 56 rooms of this type available.
Premium en-suite rooms are available across three floors. Each bedroom combines a sleep/study space, including a four-foot bed (small double), desk with chair, wardrobe, shelving and en-suite shower room. For September 2023/24 applicants, there will be 10 rooms of this type available.
