Located right on campus and next door to the University Sports Centre, this £75 million development offers modern, spacious flats across six residence buildings designed just for undergraduates. You’ll find the top-notch facilities include two on-site laundries, a central common room with gaming area, and dedicated study spaces.

This £75 million development provides self-catered en-suite bedrooms (each with a four-foot bed) in four, six, seven and eight-bedroom flats, as well as single studios across six residential buildings. 

Each of the flats includes a spacious communal kitchen/lounge with a flat-screen TV which is the perfect space to socialise. Outside of your flat, you will have the opportunity to meet students from other buildings in our multi-use common room, which includes a gaming area, as well as spaces for socialising and studying. You will also benefit from an on-site laundry.

If you would like to order essential items such as bedding, stationery, cutlery, etc. to be delivered to your residence ready for your arrival, you can visit our preferred partner UniKitOut (with a 10% discount with the code NU10). 

Please note that building works are being carried out at the nearby Sports Centre and academic building, and as such noise from the site may be experienced during your stay. If you are noise sensitive, you might want to take this into consideration before applying to stay in this accommodation.

Access and Safety

This accommodation is spread across six buildings of four to 10 floors, with lifts provided in each building. There are on-site entry-phone systems and CCTV. We take the safety of our students very seriously and Estates Security Officers patrol our accommodation to ensure your peace of mind.

A Residences Manager is responsible for Residential Services as well as welfare and discipline and a Customer Services Manager is responsible for Reception Services

Your Contract

Park View is University-owned accommodation. 

2020-2021 residents

The contract is a fixed term period of 40 weeks and will cover the duration of the academic year. Rents are charged per day, so if your contract differs to the standard dates (i.e. earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges at the relevant daily rate.

All utility bills are included (with the exception of the studio rooms), WiFi is free and we also provide Personal Possessions Insurance.

Due to coronavirus restrictions on face-to-face contact, all receptions are currently operating a phone/email service only. At Park View, this service is open Monday-Friday, 10.00-16.00.
