Located right on campus and next door to the University Sports Centre, this £75 million development offers modern, spacious flats across six residence buildings designed just for undergraduates. You’ll find the top-notch facilities include two on-site laundries, a central common room with gaming area, and dedicated study spaces.

This £75 million development provides self-catered en-suite bedrooms (each with a four-foot bed) in four, six, seven and eight-bedroom flats, as well as single studios across six residential buildings. 

Each of the flats includes a spacious communal kitchen/lounge with a flat-screen TV which is the perfect space to socialise. Outside of your flat, you will have the opportunity to meet students from other buildings in our multi-use common room, which includes a gaming area, as well as spaces for socialising and studying. You will also benefit from an on-site laundry.

Access and Safety

This accommodation is spread across six buildings of four to 10 floors, with lifts provided in each building. There are on-site entry-phone systems and CCTV. We take the safety of our students very seriously and Estates Security Officers patrol our accommodation to ensure your peace of mind.

A Residences Manager is responsible for Residential Services as well as welfare and discipline and a Customer Services Manager is responsible for Reception Services

Your Contract

Park View is University-owned accommodation. 

2021-2022 residents

The contract is a fixed term period of 40 weeks and will cover the duration of the academic year. Rents are charged per day, so if your contract differs to the standard dates (i.e. earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges at the relevant daily rate.

All utility bills are included (with the exception of the studio rooms), WiFi is free and we also provide Personal Possessions Insurance.

Reception opening times

From Monday 20 September Reception will be operating the following hours:

Reception doors are open Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 17.45 and the Customer Services team can also be contacted by telephone and email from 08.00 – 18.00.

Please note that due to the ongoing Covid 19 situation, our normal reception opening hours are subject to change.  Any changes from the hours stated here will be communicated to our residents and signage showing the new opening hours will be displayed by the reception entrance.

Here you will be greeted by a friendly face who will signpost where you need to go.

Once you have reached the designated area please remain in your car. Make sure you have your photgraphic ID and key release form ready to show to a member of our team. 

A member of the Customer Service team will come to your car. Please show them your photographic ID and key release form.

The team member will provide your key pack, you will then be guided to your drop off point, where help will be on hand to unload your vehicle in your 5 minute drop off slot. In your key pack you will have a copy of a map to nearby parking facilities.

Please remember that you must have vacated the drop off point by the end of your 5 minute drop off slot to allow others to arrive on site.

The Customer Services team will be available to help with queries from 0800 – 1900 on Saturday 11, 0800 – 1800 Friday 17, 0800 – 1900 Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 .

The Customer Service team will also be available from 0900 – 1300 on Sunday 12 September, to support with queries if you arrived on 11 September.

Reception will revert to normal opening hours of 0800 – 1800 Monday to Friday (Doors open 0830 – 1745) from Monday 20 September

Out of hours key collection 

If you expect to arrive outside of opening hours and need to collect your key on arrival, you'll need to contact our Estates Security Office on +44 (0) 191 208 6817. Security Officers will arrange to meet and give you your key and you will be asked to show a copy of your Accommodation Acceptance with details of your room allocation. 

If you’re staying at one of our managed partnership sites, you’ll need to contact your accommodation directly in advance; contact details for your residence and the out-of-hours team is available within the location section of your residence webpage.
