  • plan your next steps

We can also offer interview coaching sessions, depending on your circumstances.

Contact us online

Due to COVID-19, we currently aren’t able to offer our physical drop-in services but we’re still here to help and support you with your career. If you require information, advice and guidance from the Careers Service you can book an online appointment or submit a query through MyCareer.

Book a careers appointment

You can book an online appointment with a careers consultant, CV adviser, information adviser or START Up adviser through MyCareer.

Go to Book > Appointments then click on our Appointment Finder tool to choose the right appointment type for you.

We’ll only have time to cover one topic during your appointment. If you have multiple queries, for example, you would like CV feedback and advice on how to find graduate jobs, please book two separate appointments.

You can book appointments up to 7 days in advance. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible.

Student appointments will be via Microsoft Teams. You won’t need a link to access the meeting – we’ll video call you directly at your appointment time, so please be ready and ensure that your device’s camera and microphone are working. We recommend that you download the Teams app beforehand.

Graduate appointments will be via Zoom – you will receive a meeting invitation for this in advance.

Submit a query

You can submit a query through MyCareer and one of the team will respond within 5 working days.

Go to the Queries/CV icon and then click on Submit new query/CV.
