Background

Gayle started working for Newcastle University in May 2002 and her team (the Curriculum Unit) joined the Careers Service in April 2006. Prior to this, upon graduation she had short term posts with museums, a county council and bank before travelling for a year.

Roles and Responsibilities

Gayle became the Curriculum Team Manager in August 2013 having returned from a year of maternity leave in November 2012.  She manages the team who deliver the Career Development Modules to c500 students from across the University, the Careers Service Placement Module and the ncl award.  Gayle is the Chair of the Careers Service Board of Studies and module leader for NCL2007/3007/3008/8007.
