Careers Modules

Try something new, build your confidence and get invaluable experience.

*The following Careers Service modules have reached capacity for the 2020/21 year: NCL2007, NCL2100, NCL3007, NCL3100.  Please speak to your DPD in the first instance about your module choices.*

We have a range of modules you can take to help you gain valuable skills and experience.

Designed to help you add to your degree, our modules are completed during term-time over your academic year. You could try student tutoring or even use your part-time job or voluntary work to gain recognised skills and academic credit. See the Career Development Module for more details.

If you're interested in building enterprise skills by exploring new venture creation, then take a look at our Developing Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Employability module (NCL2100). Working in groups, you will create a new venture whilst enhancing employability skills. If you already have an idea or a business and would like to develop this further, then our Applied Entrepreneurship module (NCL3100) can help you do just that.

Undertaking a placement year through the Careers Service? You can also get academic credit: find out more about the Careers Service Placement Year Module.
