This is a new and exciting role to be part of the Newcastle University Sport Leadership Academy as a Community sport leader, contributing to the growth and contribution the programme can have in the region.
The Community sport leader will support the Community Sport Development Officer in a range of different engagement activities in partnership with our local trusted organisations in the community to build aspirations and encourage more people to get active and engage with sport.
The role will also include the opportunity to upskill as an individual within your field of expertise and area of study through specific training and delivery. Delivery can take place over a range of different themes including coaching, nutrition, health and wellbeing.
We are looking for an eager and positive individual, with a forward thinking attitude and experience in providing administrative and practical support that can further develop this successful programme.
