Get Ready To Graduate Pathway

Whether you’re not sure about what you want to do or what options are available to you, are currently looking for opportunities, or are thinking about moving into the world of work, the Get Ready to Graduate Pathway has resources and activities that cover all stages of your journey, in one handy place!

Key activities:

  • complete a skills audit and find out what jobs would suit you
  • research graduate careers 
  • explore the possibilities of further study or working for yourself
  • learn how to search for work experience and graduate jobs
  • get advice on how to make a smooth transition from university into the world of work
  • learn office etiquette and master your communication skills

How to access the Get Ready to Graduate Pathway

The Pathway is really simple to use. To access it:

  • log into MyCareer
  • click on the Pathways icon on the homepage, then on Get Ready to Graduate Pathway
  • complete the short registration form at the top before choosing which activities to do

You don’t need to do all the activities listed (there are a lot!) - just select which ones you want to do and work through them at your own pace and in any order.

You can return to the Pathway and continue at any time.
