Law Library reopening and refurbishment

The Law Library has recently undergone some exciting changes. The current Law Library space has been split into two distinct areas – one providing silent study space and an updated Mooting Room, and the other a new student social and collaborative study space.
The Law Library, including the upgraded social space, will reopen on Monday 23rd February 2026 at 10:00. The Law Library will continue to be open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 17:00 during term time. Opening hours will be updated on the Library’s website. You can continue to find additional study spaces in the nearby Marjorie Robinson and Philip Robinson Libraries.
Remember, you can now find essential law resources in the Philip Robinson Library on a 24/7 term-time access basis, including the textbooks you need for your studies. Additionally, you can explore and access a wide range of specialist e-resources from the Law Subject Guide.
For Law subject specialist support, such as OSCOLA referencing and using legal databases like Westlaw UK and Lexis+, you can contact your Liaison Librarians at any time through Library Help, by attending a drop-in event for Law students, or by booking a one-to-one appointment online or in-person.
