Through my experience as a Peer Mentor, I've developed valuable skills such as time management, leadership, and communication. These skills have not only helped me in my role, but also enhanced my personal and academic life.

Being a Peer Mentor

I decided to become a Peer Mentor because I wanted to give back and share the experience I had as a first-year student. I know how challenging it can be without much support, so I felt motivated to offer guidance and help others navigate their university journey. As a Peer Mentor, I assist my fellow students, whether it's providing advice, answering questions, or simply being someone they can rely on for support. My goal is to offer guidance, share advice, and be a trusted resource throughout their time at university. I find it rewarding to contribute to their success and well-being.  From their Peer Mentor, a mentee can expect someone approachable and supportive.
