Grainger Market

We have a space in the Grainger Market where the public can receive help, advice, and information to support living and being well in the community. Newcastle University colleagues across the Faculty of Medical Sciences will run workshops and clinics. This includes Young@Heart, the health check service that Pharmacy students provide to members of the public. Public sector services will also use the space to provide services and care to the community.

This space also holds the Community Toolbox. The Toolbox is a suite of technologies and sensors for use of the community for the exploration of health and environmental data. The data will be used to improve and inform data literacy and innovation.

For any further information about the space, contact fms.engagement@ncl.ac.uk
