Listening Support

Our Listening Support scheme offers you a one-off or regular conversation with a member of the Pastoral Care team.

Wellbeing workshops

We offer a variety of helpful wellbeing workshops, throughout the academic year to help you maintain or improve your wellbeing while you study here at Newcastle.

Counselling Support

Our Counselling Team support students through a provision of time-focused counselling, and by facilitating access to long-term counselling or specialist mental health care.

Self-help resources

Give it a Go

Give it a Go is an activity programme for all students and staff where you can try new things. It's open to all abilities and you don't need a membership.

Student societies

We have over 180 student-run societies to help you meet like-minded people and try different hobbies and interests.

Umii

Umii is a free app that matches you with other students based on your interests, course type and societies and makes it super easy to connect, start conversations and develop friendships together.

TalkCampus

TalkCampus is a free-to-download app where you can talk with other students from around the world if you’re struggling and worried about your mental health.
