Roles and Responsibilities

I have worked for the Student Wellbeing Service since November 2017 as a therapist providing assessments and counselling to students who are experiencing mental health issues or emotional difficulties.


  • Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (equivalent to level 6), Northern Guild for Psychotherapy
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Psychotherapy (equivalent to level 7), Newman University.
  • BA (Hons) in History and Education with QTS, Leeds University

Previous Positions

I have extensive experience working for counselling and mental health services as a therapist and mentor at GP surgeries, mental health day centres, universities, colleges, counselling charities, occupational health services and local authorities.

I have worked in the education sector for over 15 years, providing teaching and mentoring for young people.
