Current Role
I am currently a Research Assistant with at Newcastle University, with a focus on human dietary intervention studies and international population health surveys to determine the nutrient status assessments using stable isotope techniques. Methods include the preparation and analysis of samples for stable-isotopes analysis using LC/MS/MS, ultracentrifugation of lipoproteins, gene and RNA expression analysis and helping with designing and implementing experimental diets for intervention studies.
Background
Prior to joining Newcastle University, my professional background was in the pharmaceutical industry, where I worked as a Bioanalytical Scientist running regulated PK/PD/TK studies using both LC-MS and ICP-MS systems. I also have experience with study coordination and responsible for preparing validation study plans, SAO documents, and data transfer files all in accordance with GXP regulatory requirements.
