Alisha is a medical doctor and Clinical Research Associate, following completion of the Specialised Foundation Programme (2023-2025) in the North East.
She works within Academic Public Health, as part of the North East and North Cumbria Deep End Research Team and the Health Inequalities Team at the Population Health Sciences Institute. She also works with the NIHR Partnership for Workforce Sustainability.

Alisha is undertaking applied public health research that examines how public health and healthcare systems, policies, and interventions influence health inequalities and population outcomes, with additional interests in workforce sustainability within healthcare systems.
She also works in Clinical Education Research, exploring interdisciplinary learning approaches for health and care students.
