I am a Clinical Research Fellow at Newcastle University, focusing on research related to Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease. My career aspiration is to advance as a research physician, contributing to the field through innovative studies and clinical insights.
Previous Positions
Foundation Doctor - University Hospital of North Tees
Qualifications
BSc Biomedical Sciences - University of Adelaide
MD - Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznan
As a sub-investigator of the ADVANCE study, I work with the research team, research nurses, and clinical trial coordinators to recruit patients and oversee clinical follow-ups. I also collaborate closely with the liver research team, which includes hepatologists, medical statisticians, and bioinformaticians, to investigate the pathophysiology of MASLD to enhance clinical management strategies. My primary interest lies in discovering novel non-invasive biomarkers for MASLD and optimising existing ones.
