I graduated in medicine from the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. After my graduation, I began to work as a research assistant in the Neuromuscular Unit, Polish Academy of Science, Warsaw, Poland, where I was investigating molecular background of hereditery neuropathies. Always being passionate about combining clinical and scientific work, in 2016 I moved to Germany and started medical specialisation in clinical neurology. I manage the MYO-SEQ research project realized in cooperation with clinicans, pharmaceutical companies, patient organizations and the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. The MYO-SEQ applies exome sequencing to the large cohort of patient with undiagnosed limb-girdle weakness. My role as a manager is to co-ordinate the entire project with central to this the recruitment of 2 000 patient samples from over 55 collaborators worldwide.
