Roles and Responsibilities
Appointed as a Research Associate (Diagnostic Methods) at the NIHR Newcastle In Vitro Diagnostics Co-operative (NIHR Newcastle MIC) at Newcastle University from April 2023.

Previous Roles
Database Manager, Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit. Developed database for capture of clinical trial data for studies including CaPP3, UK Mini Mitral, OPERA and COBALT.
Provided input into CRF design, monitored and cleaned data, produced reports, liaised with Multi-disciplinary teams. I was a member of the UKCRC Registered CTU task and finish group for Data Sharing and co-authored a SOP for data sharing. Was the NCTU representative for data sharing for the UKCRC.
Research Assistant on the study "The long term sequelae of radiation exposure due to computed tomography in children and young people".
Public Health Information Analyst, Sandwell Primary Care Trust.

Whilst working at Newcastle University I completed a dissertation project "The longitudinal effects of social mobility on blood pressure at ages 50 and 60 in the Newcastle Thousand Families birth cohort" and gained a Masters in Public Health.
I also completed my PhD "Sharing patient trial data: Participants' attitudes towards data sharing" at Newcastle University.
