The School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences is proud to be home to a linguistically and culturally diverse international student community.

Diverse community

In the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences one of our great strengths is the diversity of our student community. We're proud to host undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 40 different countries. Many of our staff have also lived, studied and worked overseas. We're well-placed to give outstanding support to our international students.

We also attract exchange students from other countries. This gives you the opportunity to meet a diverse range of peers in your modules. The Education BA offers a Study Abroad year option between Stage 2 and Stage 3.

Postgraduate

We've a range of master's programmes with an international and intercultural focus. They will prepare you for work in international educational settings and other global contexts. These include:

English language requirements

If your first language is not English you'll need to check our language requirements. We offer English language study alongside your programme of study.

We also offer Pre-Sessional English courses. These provide further English language study before beginning your programme.
