Two Newcastle students, Rory Oliver and Tom Procter were shortlisted for the Pinnacle Awards 2021 for Excellence in Business Management, a national competition open to all students from all universities and colleges.

Supported by the Cave foundation and ADAS, the competition was held in person at The Farmers Club, London.

The eight shortlisted students discussed their submitted project – which were all based on coursework assessments - with the panel of judges, and made a 15 minute presentation to parents and guests.

Both Newcastle students performed well, and Rory was awarded the Bronze Student Pinnacle Award (of £600 and a year’s membership of The Farmers Club) for his presentation on “Designing Cropping Rotations for NUFARMS”.

Congratulations to Tom and Rory for their hard work throughout the year, and for representing Newcastle agricultural students in this prestigious national competition.
