Newcastle University has been supportive base for my work on developing and evaluating complex intervention for mental health. As a clinician doing research in the NHS, Newcastle University was my first choice as host to my NIHR Clinical Lectureship and NIHR Clinical Trials Fellowship. The wide ranging expertise available for AHP-led research has provided me with essential components of my development as a clinical-academic and Senior Clinical Lecturer in Mental Health.
