Susan Hillman
Research Assistant Medical Statistics
Background
I am a Research Assistant in Medical Statistics with the AGE Research Group in the Translational and Clinical Research Institute. Prior to this I was a clinical bioengineer in rehabilitation engineering in both the NHS and higher education. I have worked in service delivery, research and teaching, with a particular focus on special seating, gait analysis, mobility, prosthetics and orthotics, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and aids for daily living.
For a comprehensive list of my publications, please see https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4860-671X.
Research
I am currently providing statistical support to a number of projects in the AGE Research Group, including the Muscle Ageing Sarcopenia Study (MASS_Lifecourse) into how risk factors throughout the lifecourse influence the development of sarcopenia.
