Women in Farming 2025
You're invited!
The School of Natural and Environmental Sciences invites you to come along to the upcoming 'Women in Farming' event supported by NU Farms. It will take place on Wednesday, 8 October, from 1pm-3:30pm at Nafferton Farm.
The goal is to discuss hot topics related to women in farming including talks from those currently involved in agriculture and farming followed by a panel discussion. There will also be an opportunity to take a tour of the farm. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Your experiences and future goals are also welcomed as part of the discussion. This event is a great opportunity to network, discuss important issues, and explore exciting research. Anyone at any stage of their career is welcome to take part.

Transport is available from Newcastle University to Nafferton farm. If you wish to secure a place, please indicate on the sign up form.
