Opportunities for all students on our LEC Programmes
Our Leading Edge Curriculum Framework is committed to providing opportunities for first person experience of work or study in a different setting, whether in the North East, the UK or internationally. Our undergraduate programmes must be designed to incorporate an optional 9–12 month placement and include the opportunity to undertake an international study year.
Many of our programmes already provide these opportunities to our students. The incorporation of a placement or international study year will be captured during the LEC design phase. These opportunities may be offered in person or virtually and may be delivered with a partner.
