From gauging opinion to providing participants with question & answer opportunities, Vevox can be used on different devices with the only requirement to participate being a device connected to the internet.

All colleagues can use Vevox as presenters by logging in at the Newcastle Vevox site (choose login with SSO)

Evaluation

Following a period of evaluation and testing, Vevox was chosen to replace Ombea as the University's centrally-supported audience interaction system. From September 2023, colleagues will be able to access the platform via SSO, and additional plugins will be made available via the VLE and in all centrally-supported teaching spaces. A series of webinars will help colleagues learn to use the system and transition their current Ombea slides to Vevox polls.
