Background
I am a Research Associate in the Ecology Group of the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences. I am an Applied Ecologist with a particular focus on Agro-Ecology, Ecosystem Services, Biodiversity Conservation and Human Wildlife Conflicts.

Research
I currently work on the Horizon-2020 'Super-G' Project (Sustainable Permanent Grasslands) seeking to understand how management and conversion of permanent grasslands in Europe impacts biodiversity and trade-offs in Ecosystem Service delivery.
I also work on the DEFRA funded 'Understanding the impacts, benefits and trade-offs of mob grazing'.
I currently supervise 2 PhD students at Newcastle University.
