My Progress for Directors of Academic Advising

Directors of Academic Advising are responsible for ensuring a consistent and effective approach to supporting students' academic progress and personal development across their Academic Unit. This includes overseeing implementation of the Academic Advising Framework, supporting Academic Advisers to deliver effective practice, and promoting approaches that help students reflect, develop and achieve their goals.
My Progress provides tools and information to support these responsibilities, helping Directors of Academic Advising monitor activity, understand student engagement, and support continuous enhancement of the student experience.
Identifying students without an Academic Adviser
Directors of Academic Advising are responsible for ensuring students are allocated an Academic Adviser. My Progress can be used to identify students who have not yet been assigned an Academic Adviser and support oversight of adviser allocation across the Academic Unit.
Clicking on the ‘No Adviser’ button will list all students without an allocated Academic Adviser.
A new window will open with all students without an Adviser allocated to them within the School.
Confirmation of meetings within the School
Directors of Academic Advising help support a consistent approach to Academic Advising across their Academic Unit. This area provides an overview of meeting outcomes recorded within the School, offering insight into engagement with scheduled meetings and supporting evaluation of Academic Advising practice across the Academic Unit.
Recorded Interactions
Directors of Academic Advising help support a consistent approach to Academic Advising across their Academic Unit. This area provides an overview of recorded email interactions between Advisers and students through My Progress, offering insight into communication activity and student engagement across the Academic Unit. It records when an email has been sent to a student, but does not display the content of the email.
