Research interests

My research interests are focused around dietary assessment methods in children and also school food standards.


Current work

I am currently working as a research assistant at the Human Nutrition Research Centre. My current work explores school food architecture and interventions to improve food and drink choices made by pupils. I am also completing my PhD by publication, which is entitled 'The Development and application of dietary assessment methods in children and young people'.


Previous work

I was involved in the development of Intake24, which is an online 24 hour dietary recall tool. I have also worked on various aspects of the Northumberland School Food study (ASH11 studies).
