Rooms and prices
The accommodation pricing listed below applies only to current residents of Leazes Parade. These rates are retained for reference and do not apply to new applicants for 2026–27, as this accommodation is no longer available to book through Newcastle University.
Semester 1
Weekly Rate: £138.00
Semester Rate: £2,622.00
Contract Length: Fixed term period of 19 weeks and covers the duration of the first semester. Rents are charged per night. If your contract differs to the fixed term period (ie earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges.
Semester 2
Weekly Rate: £138.00
Semester Rate: £2,898.00
Contract Length: Fixed term period of 21 weeks and covers the duration of the first semester. Rents are charged per night. If your contract differs to the fixed term period (ie earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges.
Advanced rent and guarantor: You'll need to pay a £50.00 advanced rent payment when accepting your accommodation. Additionally, you'll need to provide a UK guarantor. A guarantor is someone, usually a parent or a guardian, who agrees to pay your rent if you miss a payment. If you're unable to provide a guarantor, you'll be asked to pay the full amount for your rent upfront.
