Background

I joined Newcastle University in the Careers Service in December 2018, as a Student Employment Assistant in the Jobs On Campus team. Prior to this I held admin roles at UK Visa and Immigration and Leeds Building Society as well as doing some voluntary work as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School. I've also worked as an Auxiliary Nurse at Sunderland Royal Hospital for just over 2 years.

Role and Responsibilities

My current role sits in the Engagement, Recruitment & Marketing team in the Business School. Generally, my role includes liaising with academics, Careers consultants and other ERM staff in order to coordinate Employability engagement for the Business School. This can include employer-led activities, skill development sessions, student communications etc.
