SACS Education Team
I am one of the two Education Administrators in the School of Arts and Cultures Programme Team, ensuring that students are effectively supported throughout the lifecycle of their programme. I have responsibility for the Music and Fine Art Clusters. I work with the team of Education Assistants and the Learning and Teaching Coordinators to complete a range of activities to support the smooth running of a cluster of programmes. This includes student registration and induction, maintenance of student data, assessments and committee support. The programmes I support are:

I also work voluntarily within the university as a Sexual Violence Liaison Officer, offering guidance and support to students who experience any form of sexual violence whilst studying in Newcastle.
I have previously worked as a teacher for 17 years; 3 years EFL Teaching in State High Schools and Junior College in Japan and the remaining time as a Primary School teacher in the UK specialising in Upper Key Stage 2 Year 5 & 6.
