Your Welcome Week programme runs from 11 to 19 September 2025.

 

To help you transition smoothly into university life, we've designed this bespoke schedule for your course. It contains a mix of informative sessions, networking opportunities, and fun activities.

Some activities are specific to your course, while others will introduce you to opportunities and events across the wider University.

Thursday 11 September

11:30 - Introduction to Maker Space - Maker Space Lab, Stephenson Building

Time: 11:30 to 12:30

Venue: Maker Space Lab, Stephenson Building (rear Ground Floor)

An introduction to the Maker Space lab with Bradley Syron.

14:00 - Welcome to Engineering - 2.32, Cassie Building

Time: 14:00 to 16:00

Venue: Room 2.32, Cassie Building

A welcome to the School of Engineering with Haoyu Huang.

Information Stands at the Fair include: the University Careers Service, Start Up, Student Wellbeing Team, the University Library, Maths Aid, Student Societies, the Student Union, Stage 1 Field Trip Information Stand and others.
