Employability

Our graduates are sought after by leading industry employers from across the globe.

Student engineers

We see our students as ‘Student Engineers’, meaning right from day one, you will be on the pathway to becoming a professional engineer.

AChartered Engineer (CEng) is one of the most recognised international engineering qualifications.

  • our Master of Engineering (MEng) degrees are a direct route to becoming chartered. You don’t need to study any further qualifications to work toward chartered status
  • our Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degrees can also lead to Chartered Engineer status. However, you’ll need to complete further study, such as an approved Master's degree

Find out more about the benefits of becoming a Chartered Engineer on the Engineering Council’s website

Our degrees are professionally accredited by the Engineering Council through the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST).
