Description
Model development will build on the analysis of present and future network operating scenarios. It will incorporate system and consumer data. We will explore both 'smart' and traditional network operation and management techniques.
The model will demonstrate modularity. It will be able to integrate user-defined inputs. These will relate to actual and/or forecasted network configurations and operating scenarios. The model's flexibility will allow for seamless incorporation of new network data as it becomes available. This will greatly extend the range of outputs.
Northern Powergrid has a series of both projects and system data. Together, these will provide our work with value to both the academic and wider industrial communities. They will also avoid duplication of work.
