Description

Waste management often lags behind economic growth in emerging countries.

This leaves peripheral communities without adequate wastewater treatment, poor water quality, and increased exposure to infectious disease.

We have developed a novel, new low-energy waste treatment technology.

The waste treatment technology removes:

  • Carbon
  • Nutrients
  • Pathogens

It can improve water quality and community health in emerging countries around the world.

This project aims to refine this technology and setup a field trial. It will initiate community health assessments of improved water quality.
