Current hydrodynamic analysis methods are insufficient to fully describe current and new offshore structures.

These structures face extreme environments (such as deeper waters or arctic conditions).

This new methodology focuses on the offshore industry. It specifies appropriate procedure and software development. These allow a complete hydrodynamics study of marine structures.

The project produces a fully integrated non-linear CFD method. This method evaluates green water loads on FPSO. It also evaluates air gaps on semi-submersibles. This enables complete analysis of complex hydrodynamic phenomena.
