This project aimed at theoretical and numerical study of motion of tracer particles in turbulent superfluid 4He.

Hence the development of theoretical foundations for the experimental technique of PIV visualization recently implemented in superfluid helium.

The project resulted in publications including:

• Physical Review Letters
• Physical Review B
• Physics of Fluids
• Journal of Low Temperature Physics
• Europhysics Letters

Work on this topic continues in collaboration with Osaka City University.
