Digital Polling

There are a lot of uses and benefits of using polls during a synchronous session including:

  • testing knowledge and understanding
  • formative feedback to the presenter
  • gathering opinions and feelings
  • initiating a discussion
  • providing an interactive element to the session that all students can engage with
Polling Tools: Zoom, Teams and Vevox

Zoom polls, Teams polls and OMBEA can all be used for polling in synchronous sessions.

The comparison table shows some of the key functionality of the different tools to help you decide which one to use.
