At Newcastle we work to ensure that assessment is equitable, transparent and meaningful, and in order to do this it's important to think deeply about the types of assessment which can provide this within your module, degree programme and discipline. Colleagues are encouraged to incorporate assessment tasks that meaningfully connect to students' futures beyond the classroom and as such, every degree programme is required to feature a diverse range of assessment types.
